Hor Haggidgad
Hor Haggidgad (Hebrew: חֹר הַגִּדְגָּד, ''Ḥōr Hag-Giḏgāḏ'', 'cave of the Gidgad') is one of the stops of the Israelites on the Exodus journey. It is mentioned in Book of Numbers 33:32-33 as a place where the Israelites stopped during the Exodus, probably meaning 'cave of GidGad/GudGod'. 〔Craige, Peter C., ''The Book of Deuteronomy'' Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing, 1976 ISBN 978-0-8028-2524-7 p.200 ()〕 it is called Gudgodah in Deuteronomy 10:7.〔Freedman, David Noel; Allen C. Myers; Astrid B. Beck ''Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible
'' Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing, 2000 ISBN 978-0-8028-2400-4 p.200 ()〕 Its location is uncertain but has been identified as possible near Wadi Hadahid〔Craige, Peter C., ''The Book of Deuteronomy'' Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing, 1976 ISBN 978-0-8028-2524-7 p.200 p. 200〕 or Wadi Ghadhaghedh in the Eastern Sinai〔Freedman, David Noel; Allen C. Myers; Astrid B. Beck ''Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible
'' Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing, 2000 ISBN 978-0-8028-2400-4 p.607 ()〕 although some see this as etymologically impossible.〔Bromiley, Geoffrey W. ''The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia'' Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing, 1995 p.756 () ISBN 978-0-8028-3782-0〕
